Pastor Brad is a graduate of Washington Bible College and has attended both Capital Bible Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Shannon have been married since 2002 and have two boys named Adam and Mathew. Before coming to serve as our lead pastor in July of 2013, Pastor Brad served as a youth pastor for 11 years.

Glenn became a follower of Jesus in 1972 while in the military. He graduated from Liberty University in 1978 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry. He and his wife, Sandy, and their three children served as missionaries in the Philippines making disciples of Jesus, starting churches, and training national pastors. They returned to the USA and starting recruiting and mobilizing new missionaries. Glenn has led more than 20 short-term teams around the world. For the past 5 years he has been helping train national pastors in many Asian countries. The Kurkas returned to the Eastern Shore and started attending BFBC since July 2013.  Glenn teaches several Bible studies each week, preaches periodically, and helps provide spiritual guidance to the church family.

Pastor Grant is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School, Lancaster, PA. He has been married to Sharon Dillon Lauterbach since May 1970 and they have four married children and five grandchildren. Before coming to BFBC Pastor Grant served as Associate & Worship Pastor at Northwest Baptist Church in Reisterstown, MD for over 37 years. Grant and Sharon are excited that God has called them to serve at Berlin First Baptist Church.
