Dress
We are a growing church comprised of people from many age groups. The dress code within the congregation is as varied as our ages. You will see everything from shorts and flip-flops in the summer, to business casual, to dresses and suits. We want you to feel at ease wearing what you are comfortable in.
Worship Style
The worship service is blended with traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship songs. The worship team has instrumentalists and vocalists. We are always looking for gifted musicians and singers to be part of the team.
Service Details
In addition to the worship and praise with singing, the service consists of a greeting time, prayer, scripture reading, and expository preaching from the Word of God. Pastor Brad makes a habit of systematically preaching through books of the Bible from the Old and New Testaments.
What About the Kids?
For those families who have children we have a nursery for babies where you can stay with your baby and watch the service online. All children stay in the worship service with their parents. Each Sunday they have an activity packet to work on as they worship and listen to the message from the Bible. This keeps them engaged and learning during the worship service.
Atmosphere
Above and beyond all of these details you can expect a warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone is made to feel welcome. Some people come early to fellowship and have pastries/coffee in the hospitality area. Most who visit Berlin First Baptist, comment on the friendliness of the church and the clarity and practical application of the message. We hope you will come and have the same experience.
